P5 Cell for Overburden Studies
In order to truly replicate down hole conditions, core plug samples should be placed under confining pressure while performing NMR core analysis measurements. While there have been pressure cells in the past which will allow users to perform NMR measurements under pressure, they have been cumbersome to use and required apparatus that meant the NMR instrument was tied up for weeks at a time.
The P5 Cell for Overburden Studies is the first such solution that has been designed with the involvement of the hardware manufacturer. The design of this cell eliminates fill factor issues, eliminates pressure cycling, eliminates additional apparatuses that ties up instrument time and does it all in the safest design available on the market.
