Green Imaging Technologies offers a unique suite of commercial non-destructive NMR testing services using its patented measurement techniques – an all-in-one solution for NMR rock core measurements.
CAPILLARY PRESSURE TESTING
Direct measurement of saturation using GIT-CAP on ≤ 1.5” core plugs. Air/Brine Pc curves to 550 psi (based on 5cm rock length) at ambient temperature and pressure. GIT-CAP provides capillary pressure curves with 10 times the data in 1/5th the time it takes to get one traditional curve. Oil/Water Pc curves are also available. Our Pc testing works well on all types of rocks and is well suited for tight ones.
NMR PORE SIZE DISTRIBUTION
Pore size distribution measurements on ≤ 1.5” core plugs at ambient temperature and pressure for T1 and/or T2. GIT’s instruments allow for measurement of lower porosity core plugs. Standard FFI, BVI, T2 cut-off, spectral cut-off, and NMR Permeability modeling are performed.
1D POROSITY PROFILE
Measurement of porosity at 30 to 40 positions down the length of the core plug, determined by MRI. This can be combined with many experiments to look at flow or imbibition processes.
FULL CAPILLARY PRESSURE ANALYSIS
The GIT lab can produce ambient air/brine and oil/brine capillary pressure results: primary drainage; secondary drainage; and imbibition. Exclusive to our lab is the ability to measure the positive and negative portions of the curves.
COMBINED WELL LOG CALIBRATION AND SCAL PROTOCOLS
Using our patented measurement techniques, we can combine well log analyses with advanced SCAL measurements saving significant testing time. Our non-destructive testing techniques protect the core while saving many preparation steps, getting the cores back quickly and safely.
ADVANCED MODELING
Our lab can provide you with several models using our advanced testing techniques. Pore throat distributions, relative permeability and wettability data can be provided with standard NMR measurements and capillary pressure data.
Green Imaging Technologies now offers NMR SCAL testing services. Tests are available in four standard packages, with custom protocols available upon request. Advanced packages include all tests available in the Standard packages, plus GIT’s patented GIT-CAP capillary pressure tests.
