GIT Systems software provides fast and accurate analysis of rock core plugs for oil and gas exploration. The software performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) measurements to directly and non-destructively measure saturation distribution of water and oil in the rock. The software is ideal for core testing facilities and oil and gas research laboratories.

GIT-CAP

The GIT-CAP software module determines capillary pressure using MRI to directly measure the water saturation distribution following centrifugation. GIT-CAP uses only three centrifuge speeds to measure the complete capillary pressure curve. (pdf)







QUICK-CAP

The QUICK-CAP software module determines the complete capillary pressure curve using one equilibrium centrifuge speed. QUICK- CAP uses modelling to determine the full capillary pressure curve from data aquired from a single GIT-CAP centrifuge speed. (pdf)







T2 Distribution

GIT Systems software measures the T2 distribution in rock core plugs yielding free fluid, bound water, clay bound water, T2 cutoff and effective porosity. Log calibration and interpretation models are improved by using these more accurate T2 values. (pdf)








Water Saturation Distribution

GIT Systems software measures distribution of water down rock core plugs. The saturation profiles can be used for water flooding experiments. The distribution can be measured for quality control to ensure uniform distributions before performing other tests. In addition, non-homogeneous rock plugs can be detected.(pdf)
