Testing Packages

Green Imaging Technologies now offers NMR SCAL testing services. Tests are available in four standard packages, with custom protocols available upon request. Advanced packages include all tests available in the Standard packages, plus GIT’s patented GIT-CAP capillary pressure tests.

Standard 1: T1 NMR

  • At ambient temperature and pressure
  • Porosity measured by saturation and NMR
  • Grain volume, grain density and pore volume
  • NMR permeability modeling
  • T1 Pore Size Distribution at Swr and 100% saturation
  • FFI, BVI, CBW, T1 cut-off
  • 1D Porosity Profile at Swr and 100% saturation

Standard 2: T2 NMR

  • At ambient temperature and pressure
  • Porosity measured by saturation and NMR
  • Grain volume, grain density and pore volume
  • NMR permeability modeling
  • T2 Pore Size Distribution at Swr and 100% saturation
  • FFI, BVI, CBW, effective porosity, T2 cut-off
  • 1D Porosity Profile at Swr and 100% saturation

  • At ambient temperature and pressure
  • All measurements included in Standard package (T1 or T2)
  • Diffusion Analysis using multiple (3) TE’s
  • GIT-CAP Air/Brine Capillary Pressure
  • Primary Drainage Curve
  • QUICK-CAP Pc Modeling
  • Irreducible Water Saturation
  • Entry Pressure

  • At ambient temperature and pressure

  • Primary & Secondary Drainage, and Imbibition Curves
  • QUICK-CAP Pc Modeling
  • Irreducible Water Saturation, Residual Oil Saturation
  • Entry Pressure
  • Wettability

All necessary core preparation (e.g. cleaning, saturation, trimming) is included in the Packages. Please note: Testing time can be reduced if the samples arrive pre-cleaned.
